Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) released the following statement Tuesday regarding the 14th Annual Christians United for Israel (CUFI) Summit:
I am proud of the hard work our friends at CUFI – a San Antonio based organization – are doing for the sake of Israel, peace, security, and democracy in the Middle East. The partnership of thousands and their attendance at the annual summit this week in Washington, DC, continues to spur us all on for the prosperity of Israel and America.
Rep. Chip Roy released the following statement Wednesday regarding the official launch of the Tx-21 Veterans Advisory Council:
I'm proud to announce the official launch of the Tx-21 Veterans Advisory Council. The men and women who make up this group are patriots with the track record of service and sacrifice to prove it. They have dedicated their lives to serving the United States and are continuing that service representing all veterans in Tx-21 on this council.
The "market" for healthcare has been largely destroyed, and in its wake remains a complicated, confusing system in dire need of fixing. Prices are too high and choices are too few, and the federal government's response has long been more government control and more money.
The United States spent a total of $2.6 trillion on healthcare in 2010. In the post-Obamacare era, this number is estimated to reach $3.8 trillion in 2019, and national health spending is projected to grow at an average rate of 5.5% per year to reach nearly $6.0 trillion in 2027.
