Washington, D.C. – Today, Congressman Chip Roy (TX-21) sent a letter to U.S. Attorney General Todd Blanche, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, and Secretary of the Treasury Scott Bessent, voicing his concerns about a planned Islamic development being built near Camp Bullis, a U.S. military training base in San Antonio.

Rep. Roy is urging the cabinet officials to “examine whether any criminal, civil, financial, or immigration statutes have been violated in its effort to fulfill its campus expansion project.”

Washington, D.C. – Today, Congressman Chip Roy (TX-21) and Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-09) introduced the ARTICLE ONE Act, legislation that would require Congress to approve national emergency declarations and the powers used under them within 30 days for them to remain in effect.
