"I'm glad to see the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee unanimously passed my bipartisan ARTICLE ONE Act (H.R. 3988). Republicans and Democrats both agree that Congress must check the President's power to declare national emergencies.

"Today, the House was presented with a list of bills, including S. 1146, H.R. 9076, and H.R. 7213, that I could not vote for. While the intentions behind these bills are admirable and commendable, together, they authorize billions in federal spending without corresponding offsets.

Rep. Roy writes“Despite the mass influx of illegal aliens into the United States since January 2021, the Epic Systems handbook referenced above makes no mention of steps health care providers should take to ensure non-citizens do not illegally register to vote in federal elections.”
