WASHINGTON — Rep. Roy issued the following statement Tuesday morning after the House voted the previous evening to pass a rules package containing key reforms to House procedure:
WASHINGTON—On Thursday, Rep. Chip Roy (TX-21), introduced the “No Budget, No Fundraising Act” to prohibit Members of Congress from campaign fundraising until they do their job and pass a balanced budget and subsequent spending bills to reflect it.
WASHINGTON — Rep. Chip Roy (TX-21) issued the following statement Thursday evening after voting against the House's version of H.R. 7900, the National Defense Authorization Act:
"I refuse to vote for a defense authorization bill that fires healthy, qualified service members because they won't get a politicized injection.
