WASHINGTON, D.C.--Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) released the following statement regarding the Democrat House leadership's opening day:
Within hours of being sworn-in, Congressman Roy cast three major votes to kick off the 116th Congress, voting "no" on all measures because each would increase deficit spending and increase the power of the federal government while failing to do the basic job of securing our nation.
