WASHINGTON -- Congratulations to my friend and former colleague Victoria Coates on her new role as Deputy White House National Security Adviser. I was privileged to work with her during my tenure working as Chief of Staff for Senator Ted Cruz, where she served as National Security Adviser.

Victoria brings a wealth of knowledge and foreign policy experience to the Administration. Our nation is in great hands with Victoria helping craft policy and long-term vision abroad. I have every confidence in her and her successes yet to come.
