Washington, D.C. — Representative Chip Roy (TX-21) pressed for answers from AMPYR Energy following serious concerns related to the company’s sprawling 1,000-acre BESS facility and solar farm in rural Gillespie County, TX. 

“As you may know, I represent Gillespie County and the surrounding area, which is a delicate Hill Country landscape that demands careful stewardship. Gillespie County is subject to extreme drought, wildfires, and flash flooding events.”  Rep. Roy wrote.

Washington, D.C. — Representative Chip Roy (TX-21) introduced the Pausing All Admissions Until Security Ensured (PAUSE) Act today. This legislation would freeze all immigration to the U.S., except for temporary tourist visas, until certain conditions are met to ensure our immigration system is working on behalf of the American people.
