Rep. Roy's statement on Rep. Crenshaw's recent prognosis

WASHINGTON — Rep. Chip Roy (TX-21) issued the following statement Saturday in response to the news that his friend and colleague, Rep. Dan Crenshaw (TX-2) had undergone emergency surgery on his remaining eye:

Dan Crenshaw is a patriot and is as tough as they come; I have no doubt he will overcome this latest challenge and will be back in full stride fighting for Texans soon without missing a step.

As we continue praying for a full and speedy recovery, everyone should take this news as a reminder of the toll taken on our many military families in their sacrifice for our nation, as well as our to honor that sacrifice by preserving a free America.
