Rep. Roy releases mini documentary: ‘Texas Under Siege: The Human Toll of Biden's Border Crisis’

WASHINGTON— On Thursday evening, Rep. Chip Roy (TX-21) released "Texas Under Siege: The Human Toll of Biden's Border Crisis," a roughly 15-minute miniature documentary on the destruction that President Biden's reckless and impeachable border policies and actions have wrought on Texas.

The documentary was shot in late August and early September 2021 during a fact-finding trip to the Rio Grande Valley with Sen. Ted Cruz (Texas).

"Texas is under siege!" said Rep. Chip Roy exclaims in the documentary. "Where is our leadership?"

Through interviews with activists, victims, law enforcement and ranchers, the documentary specifically highlights the human costs of increased fentanyl trafficking, human trafficking, and property destruction happening as a direct result of Biden's failure to faithfully execute federal law.

"Young men and women, little girls, little boys, getting branded, getting burned, getting abused by cartels along our border, the most powerful nation in the history of the world and that is happening on our watch because of frankly the embarrassing polices of this administration," Rep. Roy laments in the documentary.

"At the end of the day, the most important thing we can do is... change policy," Rep. Roy concludes at the end of the documentary. "Nothing short of that is going to actually solve the problem here."
