Rep. Roy celebrates the second inauguration of President Donald John Trump

WASHINGTON — Today a new era begins for the American people — a golden age of security, prosperity, and common sense. 

President Trump made clear in his address the tasks before us to honor the mandate given to us by the people: to secure our borders and our streets, to tackle inflation driven by profligate spending, to reopen American energy, to return our military to its mission, end the political weaponization of government, and to make America respected and strong again. 

Today is a day for celebration, but our work begins immediately. There is no room for excuses. Congress must work with the President to deliver fully, not partially. I stand ready and resolved.
