Rep. Chip Roy On The Passing Of Lt. Col. Dick Cole

Rep. Chip Roy released the following statement Wednesday regarding the passing of Lt. Col. Dick Cole, the last surviving member of the Doolittle Raiders:

"It is with great sadness that I learned of the passing of Lt. Col. Dick Cole—the last surviving member of the 80 Doolittle Raiders. Lt. Col. Cole—a Texan--was the embodiment of what it means to be an American hero. We are forever grateful for Lt. Col. Cole's service and sacrifice."
