ICYMI: Rep. Roy demands apology for Border Patrol agents slandered by administration

February 2, 2022

WASHINGTON—This morning, Rep. Roy joined Fox and Friends to call out the Biden Administration for refusing to secure the border and refusing to apologize to Border Patrol agents they baselessly accused of "whipping" migrants last September.

A selection of quotes from the interview are below and the interview clip is available here.

"The investigation report hasn't been released, because there's nothing to actually release. And the President knew that when he was throwing these brave border patrol agents under the bus."

"Where's their apology for these great men and women who are securing our country, when he refuses to do so?"

"A new approach is bullets flying at our agents. A new approach is emboldened cartels. A new approach is a hundred thousand dead Americans because of Fentanyl pouring into our communities. That's the new approach of the Biden Administration, and I think the American people are tired of it."

"There's no chance that they'll apologize to those agents, because look, what's behind all of this, behind the Biden Administration, is a desire to foment racial division. That's what's going on."

"The Biden Administration has nothing left to sell, so they gotta go back to the only page in the book they have, and that's try to play race politics."

"They're looking at 30 percent poll ratings, and they know that you can't sell 85 billion dollars of equipment left in Afghanistan, massive inflation, wide open borders, Americans dying from opioid poisonings, and all crime we're seeing on the streets. They have nothing left to sell the American people."
