The Biden agenda: ‘Record levels of misery’ for the American people

December 15, 2021

WASHINGTON— Early Wednesday morning, Rep. Chip Roy (TX-21) joined Shannon Bream on Fox News in an interview to discuss President Biden's deadly, destructive, and impeachable failures at the border, as well as Congress' reckless spending sprees and his vote against raising the debt ceiling.

Full footage of Rep. Roy's interview is available at the link here and some key quotes are below:

  • This is the Biden administration's solution… to send Kamala Harris down to Central America and talk to them once, come back to the United States and have no actual solution for our border. And the result? We've got 51 dead migrants in a vehicle that overturned; we've got two dead American citizens because we've got an American citizen employee of cartels hammering into a car, t-boning it, and killing two American citizens. We've had 600,000 got-aways while the Biden administration tries to pretend, and Secretary Mayorkas lies and says our border is secure while Texas is getting decimated; migrants are dying.
  • If you wanted to actually do worse than what President Biden is doing, I don't know how you could do it. Whether it's crime, whether it's border, whether it's inflation, whatever the issue is, it is record levels of misery for the United States of America and the American people are counting down the days of this administration and the Democratic majority in the House of Representatives.
  • We've got to stop spending money we don't have. It's absolutely absurd… If there should be any bipartisan agreement, it's that you can't keep printing money and not expect it to have a significant negative consequence on our economy.
  • We're strangling the greatest economy in the history of the world, and that's not a partisan statement. Both parties have been absolute garbage when it comes to spending restraint. But right now the Democrats are in charge of all three: House, Senate, and the White House, and they're sending us massive spending bills... You can't deny the correlation between this administration being in power and now rampant, massive inflation because you've dumped trillions of dollars into the economy, irresponsibly. It's hard to get away from the facts on the ground.
