Congressman Roy leads 29 colleagues in anti-earmarks pledge

WASHINGTON 一 On Wednesday, Rep. Chip Roy (TX-21), joined by 29 of his House Republican colleagues, issued the following open letter to Speaker Nancy Pelosi (CA-12) pledging that they will not request earmark money amidst efforts to resurrect the corrupting practice in Congress.

 

The pledge letter will remain open for any member of Congress of either party who wishes to join and take a stand against legislative bribery.
